Chrome extension

GlobalStream Explorer version 2.4 stores favorite categories locally in your Chrome profile using the storage permission. It does not send favorites to GlobalStream, collect analytics, read browsing history, or access Netflix credentials or account data. Remove favorites in the extension or clear its local data by uninstalling it. This release has no linked website account or paid features.

Opening a Netflix link takes you to Netflix, which processes that visit under its own privacy practices. Category and ranking data are bundled with the extension; displayed ranking dates identify the snapshot, not a live feed.

Website

The website is hosted on Railway. Account access currently remains limited to an owner-only sandbox preview. It stores sign-in identity, a password hash, session records, and saved film titles, countries and optional notes in PostgreSQL. Session cookies support authentication; security records help limit abusive login attempts. Hosting infrastructure may process technical request information to operate and secure the service.

Stripe handles sandbox payment details. GlobalStream stores subscription references and status, not card numbers. Live billing is not enabled. Website watchlists and extension favorites are separate and are not currently synchronized.

We do not sell watchlists or extension favorites. Avoid entering sensitive information in notes. Website records remain until removed or an account-deletion request is processed; backup copies can remain until their configured retention expires.
